Kenzie Brown is a 5-foot-11 professional softball pitcher from Lake City, Illinois. She was acquired by the Portland Cascade in the third round of the 2026 AUSL College Draft following a collegiate career at Tulsa and Arizona State.


Personal Life


Family: Daughter of Lisa Hood and Andy Brown; one of nine children in her family.

Background: Four-sport athlete in high school who also played basketball, track and field, and volleyball. Lists pitching coach Jeremy Manley as a major influence and Jennie Finch as an idol.

Hobbies: Enjoys cooking, hiking, and shopping.

Athletes Unlimited Softball League (2026)

2026 AUSL Regular Season: Selected by the Portland Cascade in the third round of the 2026 AUSL College Draft.

College Experience: Tulsa & Arizona State (2022–2026)


Career Statistics: Logged 124 career appearances (59 starts) with a 50-25 record, seven saves, and a 2.75 ERA. Racked up 676 strikeouts over 469.0 innings with 30 complete games.

Senior Year (2026, Arizona State): Authored an 18-8 record with a 2.29 ERA and three saves across 36 appearances. Tallied 266 strikeouts in 168.0 innings and notched 12 double-digit strikeout games.

Junior Year (2025, Arizona State): Finished fourth nationally with 289 strikeouts over 174.1 innings. Posted a 19-8 record with a career-best 1.28 ERA, 13 complete games, and four saves. Equaled the school single-game record with 18 strikeouts against BYU.

Sophomore Year (2023, Arizona State): Logged a 10-2 record with 76 strikeouts before redshirting the 2024 campaign.

Freshman Year (2022, Tulsa): Appeared in 22 games (nine starts), recording 45 strikeouts over 52.2 innings.

All-America: Second-Team NFCA All-America selection as a senior; earned Second-Team honors from Softball America and D1Softball as a junior and senior. NFCA First-Team All-America choice as a junior.

Conference & Region Honors: Two-time First-Team All-Big 12 and two-time First-Team NFCA All-West Region selection.
