Personal: Alo is the daughter of Levi and Andrea Alo. Her father played football at Laney College, while her mother played softball at the same college. She is one of four siblings in the family. In 2024, Alo competed with the Savannah Bananas during the season. She was selected twice as Gatorade State High School Player of the Year. She also participated in Major League Baseball's Home Run Derby X events in Mexico City and Fredericksburg, Virginia. At the Mexico City event, she earned MVP honors after belting 17 home runs in the final round. Alo was also recognized as Sports Illustrated's Female Athlete of the Year in 2022 and was a member of Gold House's A100 List in 2023. In the same year, she was also honored as a member of the 2023 Forbes "30 Under 30" list.

2024 AUX Season: Alo secured second place in the final league standings in her Athletes Unlimited debut. She amassed 1,338 leaderboard points, finishing just six points behind outfielder Bubba Nickles for the AUX title, making it the closest finish in any Athletes Unlimited season. Alo collected 680 win points with a league-high 418 stat points and became the second player in Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX history to earn five or more Game MVP awards in a single season, leading the league with five certificates and 240 MVP points. She started the season with MVP notices in four of her first six appearances and was honored with MVP 1 distinction three times, in addition to one MVP 2 and one MVP 3 commendation. Alo served as a team captain in the final two series of the season, compiling a 3-5 record. She tied for second in the league by collecting 100 or more leaderboard points in a game seven times and was one of four players to reach the 200-point mark multiple times. Additionally, Alo joined Nickles, pitcher Mariah Mazon, and corner infielder Tori Vidales as the only players in the league with 250 or more points in a single game. She was a starter in all 12 games and set new Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball AUX single-season standards with six home runs and 34 total bases. Alo also drove in 12 runs while scoring seven times and collected 14 hits, including two doubles, while drawing seven walks. She was one of four players to hit two home runs in a game, doing so against Team Nickles on June 23 en route to a season-high 260 leaderboard points and MVP 1 distinction. Alo registered a five-game hitting streak from June 10 to June 17, going 9-for-16 during the run with four home runs and a pair of three-hit performances. She also garnered MVP 1 notice and 210 leaderboard points after belting her first Athletes Unlimited home run against Team Warren on June 10, and was honored as MVP 1 recipient on June 16 against Team Edwards, earning 190 leaderboard points. Alo also tallied 190 points after an MVP 2 effort against Team Wiggins on June 11 that included three hits and collected an MVP 3 commendation after a three-hit affair against Team Clark on June 17.


2022 Championship Season: Alo was one of 13 players selected in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball College Draft. 


Other Professional Experience: Alo was selected with the first overall selection by Smash It Sports Vipers in the 2022 Women's Professional Fastpitch College Draft. During her rookie season with the Vipers, she hit .373 and recorded three home runs. However, she was later traded to Oklahoma City. In the 2023 campaign, Alo guided the Oklahoma City Spark to a 21-14 record while hitting .294 with six home runs and 18 runs batted in. She hit safely in 21 of 29 games with Oklahoma City, including four multi-hit efforts.


International Experience: Alo helped the United States win the 2022 Canada Cup by hitting .591 (13-for-22), with four home runs, 11 runs batted in, and 10 runs scored. She also compiled a .417 batting average with five hits, including a double, and two runs batted in during the group stage of the 2024 WBSC Women's Softball World Cup. Furthermore, she was named to the Team USA roster for the 2024 Japan All-Star Series.

At Oklahoma: Alo was a five-year letter winner at Oklahoma, and she had an impressive career from 2018-22 as she started all 267 games during that time. She led the Sooners to back-to-back NCAA championships in 2021 and 2022. Alo closed her career with a .445 batting average and 343 hits, including 173 extra-base hits. She owns the NCAA Division I record with 122 career home runs and belted 30 or more home runs in a season three times during her career. She hit 34 home runs in each of her final two seasons, setting Oklahoma and Big 12 Conference single-season marks. Alo tallied 30 home runs during her freshman campaign in 2018 and led NCAA Division I in home runs three times during her career. 


She also stands as NCAA’s all-time leader with 761 total bases and .987 slugging percentage. Alo became the fourth player in NCAA Division I history to hit a home run in seven consecutive games when she accomplished the feat from March 7-26, 2021. She also hit a home run in six straight games from March 18-25, 2022. She is the only player in NCAA Division I history to record 200 or more total bases in multiple seasons. As a redshirt senior, Alo posted a 1.212 slugging percentage, the third-highest mark in NCAA Division I history. She also registered a 1.109 slugging percentage in the 2021 season. Alo scored 281 runs during her career, good for fifth in NCAA Division I history, and ranks second in NCAA Division I history with 323 career runs batted in. 


Alo was a two-time selection as USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year, recipient of 2022 Honda Sport Award for Softball, and a four-time NFCA All-America honoree, including a trio of First-Team commendations. She also received Second-Team All-America distinction as a sophomore and was honored as 2018 NFCA Freshman of the Year. Alo was named Most Outstanding Player at the 2022 NCAA Women’s College World Series after hitting .667 with 12 hits, including five home runs, with 13 runs batted in. She was a three-time member of the NCAA Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team and hit 12 home runs in the NCAA Women’s College World Series during her career, the most by any player in tournament history. 


Alo was also a four-time member of All-Big 12 First Team who earned the league’s Player of the Year distinction in each of her final two seasons. She was named as 2022 Big 12 Female Athlete of the Year. As a redshirt senior, Alo was a starter in all 62 games while leading Oklahoma to a second straight NCAA title. She led the nation in home runs (34), on-base percentage (.646), runs per game (1.35), slugging percentage (1.212), and total bases (200). Alo compiled a .515 batting average to become the only player in NCAA history to hit over .500 with 30 or more home runs in a season. She tallied a hit in 51-of-62 games, including 26 contests with a home run. Alo led Oklahoma to the largest win in NCAA Women’s College World Series Championship Series history after hitting two home runs in a 16-1 victory over Texas. 


Alo became NCAA’s all-time home runs leader on March 11, 2022, with a home run against Hawaii. She earned a starting assignment in all 60 games during her senior campaign and led NCAA with 34 home runs and 1.109 slugging percentage. She registered the second-longest hitting streak in NCAA Division I history by posting a hit in 40 consecutive games from February 21, 2020, to April 3, 2021. Alo started all 24 games for the Sooners during the COVID-shortened 2020 season and paced the team with 61 total bases. She also hit eight home runs while driving in 21 runs. As a sophomore, Alo tied for the team lead with 56 runs batted in while starting all 59 games. She was a starter in all 62 games as a rookie who led NCAA Division I with 30 home runs and 170 total bases. She also finished second in the nation with 72 runs batted in.
