Personal: Kennedy is the daughter of Pat and Christine Kennedy and one of three children in her family. Her older sister, Ashley, is a mechanical engineer, and her brother, Cole, works as a fireman in Houston. Kennedy majored in business at Texas A&M and earned a minor in sports management. She credits her high school coach, Megan Gibson-Loftin, as someone who has made a significant impact on her life. She considers her parents to be her idols, admiring their strong work ethic and the dedication they show in everything they do. In addition to softball, Kennedy also played volleyball in high school. One of her proudest accomplishments is earning All-America honors during her junior year at Texas A&M. Outside of athletics, she enjoys walking and spending time exploring the outdoors.
2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Kennedy totaled 732 leaderboard points, including 730 win points, during her first All-Star Cup campaign. She made two appearances in the circle, allowing one run with two walks over 0.1 innings against Team Kowalik on August 21. She also pitched 0.2 scoreless innings against Team Kowalik in Series Four while allowing one hit.
2025 AUSL Regular Season: Kennedy appeared in 10 games with five starts for the Bandits during her rookie season. She posted a 0–2 record with a 5.47 earned run average and recorded 14 strikeouts over 24.1 innings. She tied for sixth in the league by allowing just 19 earned runs and also shared fifth place in the AUSL in runs allowed (19) and hits allowed (36). She did not allow a run over 2.0 innings in her professional debut against the Talons on June 10, scattering three hits and striking out two during the Bandits’ 8–0 victory in the series finale. She threw a season-high 4.2 innings against the Blaze on June 22 and registered a season-high three strikeouts over 2.0 innings against the Volts on July 20. She closed the regular season with 3.0 scoreless innings against the Blaze on July 23, giving up just three hits with two strikeouts, and later threw 1.0 inning in relief during Game One of the AUSL Championship against the Talons.
College Experience: Kennedy was a four-year letter winner at Texas A&M, where she made 153 appearances and 84 starts from 2022 to 2025. Over her collegiate career, Kennedy compiled an impressive 70–33 record with a 2.59 earned run average across 620.0 innings. She recorded 568 strikeouts, 18 shutouts, and 52 complete games, while also earning 13 career saves—five of which came during her junior season. As a senior, Kennedy earned First-Team NFCA All-Central Region and All-Southeastern Conference honors. She posted a 21–6 record with a 3.20 ERA, appearing in 34 games with 24 starts. During that season, she totaled 149 strikeouts in 157.2 innings and completed 19 games. Some of her standout performances included a season-high 11 strikeouts in a win at Auburn on March 14, 2025, and a dominant one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts against Tennessee on May 1, 2025. She also threw a five-inning no-hitter against Purdue on February 9, 2025. Kennedy made history in her junior year by becoming the first left-handed pitcher in 41 years to earn NFCA All-America honors, receiving Second-Team recognition. She was also named to the Softball America All-America Second Team and earned First-Team All-America accolades from D1Softball. That season, she ranked third in NCAA Division I with 24 complete games and 10 shutouts. She became the first Texas A&M pitcher to reach 200 or more strikeouts in a season since 2013, finishing with 200 strikeouts over 43 appearances. Kennedy posted a 24–11 record and a 1.93 ERA as a First-Team All-SEC selection, becoming the first Aggie pitcher to record 20 or more wins in a season since Samantha Show in 2016. She also set program single-season records for innings pitched (100.1) and strikeouts (86) in SEC play. Kennedy played a pivotal role in leading Texas A&M to its first NCAA Super Regional appearance since 2018, going 2–0 with 12.0 scoreless innings and eight strikeouts during the postseason. As a sophomore, she led the team in innings pitched (119.0) and strikeouts (110), making a team-high 35 appearances. She emerged as the Aggies’ ace in the postseason, pitching in all five games and posting a 1.94 ERA over 18.0 innings.
Kennedy threw her first career no-hitter on March 4, 2023, in a six-strikeout performance against No. 19 Baylor. As a freshman, she appeared in 41 games with 20 starts, finishing with a 13–11 record, 110 strikeouts, and a team-high 140.2 innings pitched. She concluded her rookie season with a 2.94 ERA.
