Personal: Vawter is the daughter of Susie and Larry Vawter and has two brothers. She was a three-sport athlete in high school, competing in swimming and track and field in addition to softball. Growing up, she was involved in volleyball, swimming, and track and field. She models her game after Monica Abbott and lists Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as one of her idols. Vawter’s proudest accomplishment is graduating from Stanford with a degree in engineering. She enjoys reading, visiting new restaurants, and painting, and she also knows how to play the ukulele. She wears No. 15 in honor of her brother, who wore the same number during his baseball career.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: Vawter appeared in 12 games with five starts during her first AUSL season with the Blaze. She posted a 1-5 record while ranking ninth in the league with a 4.52 earned run average and tied for ninth in the circuit with 31.0 innings pitched. Vawter recorded 17 strikeouts, including a season-high five strikeouts against the Talons on July 7. She earned her first AUSL victory after allowing one run on four hits with four strikeouts over 5.0 innings against the Bandits on June 23. Vawter also recorded a save against the Bandits on July 8 after pitching the final inning in a 12-10 victory and tallied four strikeouts against the Volts on June 18.


Other Professional Experience: Vawter competed for Florida Vibe during the 2024 Association of Fastpitch Professionals season. She is competing for the Denso Bright Pegasus of the Japan Diamond League during the 2025 campaign. 


International Experience: Vawter was a member of Team USA for the 2023 Japan All-Star Series, where she threw 4.2 innings and recorded three strikeouts.

College Experience: Vawter was a four-year letter winner at Stanford before completing her career by playing at South Carolina during the 2024 season. She made 169 total appearances with 126 starts. Over the course of her career from 2020-24, Vawter authored a 94-47 record with seven saves and a 1.82 earned run average. She compiled 633 total strikeouts over 867.2 innings, including 84 complete games. Vawter earned two-time NFCA All-America honors, receiving Third-Team recognition with South Carolina in 2024 and Second-Team honors during her final season at Stanford. She also received four NFCA All-Region Team certificates and claimed All-Conference honors four times, including three First-Team All-Pac-12 Conference citations. Vawter was a member of the 2024 All-Southeastern Conference Second Team.In the 2024 season, Vawter paced South Carolina with 41 appearances, including 21 starts. She finished with a 17-13 record and three saves while pitching 188.2 innings. Vawter tossed 12 complete games, including three shutouts. She threw a career-high 12.0 innings in a complete-game victory over No. 11 Clemson on March 20, 2024. Vawter became the first Stanford All-America selection since 2015 after posting a 21-8 record with a 1.81 earned run average in 2023. She started 27 outings, striking out 155 batters across 190.0 innings and throwing four shutouts. In 2022, she went 25-14 with a 1.97 earned run average over 227.2 innings, spinning 27 complete games, including 11 shutouts, and recording 164 strikeouts. During the 2021 season, Vawter posted a 22-11 record with a 1.54 earned run average, 22 complete games, and seven shutouts. She became the first Stanford pitcher with 20 or more victories since 2014. Vawter opened her college career with a 9-1 record and a 1.48 earned run average during the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign, posting four shutouts and striking out 52 batters.
