Sierra Sacco-Ferrie is a 5-foot-8 professional softball outfielder from Marrero, Louisiana. She was acquired in the 3rd Round of the 2026 Expansion Draft following a collegiate career at Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State.


Personal Life


Family: Husband, Kyle Ferrie, plays football at Mississippi State. Named her dog Cody Johnson in honor of the country music singer.

Education: Majored in business administration at Mississippi State.

Professional Experience


AUSL (2025)

2025 AUSL All-Star Cup: Totaled 740 points, hitting .286 with five walks over 10 starts.

2025 AUSL Regular Season: AUSL All-Defensive Team member who batted .313 with three home runs, three doubles, and 15 runs scored. Hit the first home run in AUSL history on June 7.


International Experience (2025)

Team USA: Member of the 2026 National Team pool, logging two home runs during the Down Under Series in December 2025.

College Experience: Louisiana Tech & Mississippi State (2022–2025)


Career Statistics: Authored a .397 batting average with 13 home runs, 99 RBIs, and 99 stolen bases in 227 games.

Senior Year (2025, Mississippi State): Set career highs with 11 home runs and 49 RBIs.

Junior Year (2024, Mississippi State): Paced the team with a .347 batting average and 19 stolen bases.

Louisiana Tech (2022–2023): Hit .392 over two seasons. Set a single-season record with 83 hits in 2022.

All-America: First-Team All-America by Softball America and NFCA as a senior.

Conference Honors: First-Team All-SEC as a senior. Conference USA Freshman of the Year in 2022.
