Carley Hoover

Personal: Hoover is from Clemson, South Carolina. She is an LSU graduate.

Other Professional Experience: Hoover is a right-handed pitcher who has played for six years in the Japan Diamond Softball League – a top softball league in Japan and one of the best in the world. She played for Denso Bright Pegasus her entire career overseas and was named the Player of the Year in 2022. That season she led the league with 18 wins, recording 198 strikeouts and a 1.66 ERA during 152 innings of work.

At LSU: Hoover was a two-time All-American and ranks in the top five in Tigers’ program history with 71 wins, 754 strikeouts, a .195 opponent’s batting average, 66 complete games, and 10 career saves.
