Carolina Blaze star Karlyn Pickens will be heading into her second professional season with a little extra bling.
Pickens announced her engagement to professional basketball player Jack Browder on Instagram after saying “yes” on October 4.
The couple celebrated two years of dating in April before adding another milestone to their year this fall.
For Pickens, the engagement adds another memorable moment to a year that included a standout senior season at Tennessee and the beginning of her professional softball career. Pickens is coming off her rookie season with the Blaze after being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 AUSL College Draft. The former Tennessee star quickly became a key piece of Carolina’s pitching staff in her first professional season.
Browder is also a professional athlete and continues his basketball career in Australia’s National Basketball League.
