Personal: Davidson comes from a military family, as both of her parents served in the U.S. Army. Her sister, Montana, also shares her passion for softball and played at Mississippi State from 2017 to 2022. Davidson has two dogs named Lulu and Bo. She credits her father as someone who has made a meaningful difference in her life. Growing up, Davidson was active in a variety of sports, including basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. Her hobbies include performing bat tricks, collecting baseball cards, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys performing yo-yo tricks. Davidson wears jersey number 33 in honor of her father, who wore the same number when he played football in high school. Her walk-up song is “I Look Good” by Chalie Boy. She graduated from Mississippi State University in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration. In 2023, she served as a graduate assistant softball coach at Mississippi State. During that time, she also co-hosted a podcast called Rounding Third with other members of the coaching staff. One of the most memorable moments of her career was meeting softball legend Crystl Bustos, an experience that left her feeling starstruck. Davidson considers becoming a professional softball player her proudest accomplishment.
2024 Championship Season: Davidson accumulated 496 leaderboard points during her fourth Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball season. Unfortunately, she missed the final two weeks of the season due to injury. Davidson earned a starting assignment in four games, posting two hits in eight at-bats while also drawing two walks. She opened the season with a hit against Team Romero and tallied another hit in the Week One finale against Team Denham. Her season-high of 110 leaderboard points came against Team McQuillin on August 3.
2023 AUX Season: Davidson had an impressive performance, finishing in third place overall. Over the course of 10 games, she accumulated 1,122 leaderboard points, including 720 win points. Davidson ranked second in the league with 382 stat points, showcasing her exceptional abilities. One of Davidson's standout moments came on June 19, when she helped Team Leach secure a 13-3 victory over Team Filler. Her outstanding performance earned her the MVP 3 honors. Throughout the season, Davidson consistently performed well, earning 454 leaderboard points in each of the first two series. Davidson's batting average of .417 was one of the best in the league, placing her among the top six players. She set a new AUX single-season record by hitting five home runs and driving in eight runs. Additionally, Davidson scored the most runs in the league, crossing home plate 12 times. She also established a new record for being hit by a pitch, getting hit seven times throughout the season. In the final stretch of the season, Davidson showcased her skills by hitting safely in five of her last six games, including three home runs. Her best game came against Team Filler on June 19, where she recorded three hits and three runs scored. Davidson also started the season strong, hitting a home run in consecutive games against Team Garcia on June 12 and Team Mulipola on June 14. She closed the season with two more home runs against Team Warren on June 24 and Team Garcia on June 25.
2022 Championship Season: Davidson accumulated 1,280 leaderboard points, earning her 21st place in the league standings. She secured 370 stat points by registering 10 hits, including three doubles and four home runs, and driving in 11 runs while starting all 15 games. She hit a home run in back-to-back games to finish Week Two and drove in four runs while going 3-for-4 with two runs scored against Team Chidester on August 20. She also fashioned two RBI with a home run in the season finale against Team Chidester on August 28.
2022 Season: Davidson was one of 13 players selected in the Athletes Unlimited Softball College Draft.
Other Professional Experience: Davidson signed to play with Denso Bright Pegasus of the Japan Diamond League during the 2024 season.
International Experience: Davidson is a two-time participant in the International Canada Cup with TC Colorado. She also played for Team USA at the 2022 WBSC Pan American Championships, where she hit .500 (6-for-12) with seven runs scored and a team-high three home runs during round-robin play. She was named to the Team USA roster for the 2023 WBSC World Cup Group A event in Dublin, Ireland, and also helped Team USA win the Gold medal at the 2023 Pan American Games. She contributed to Team USA’s Silver medal at the 2024 WBSC World Cup Finals, appearing in two games, including one start.
At Mississippi State: Davidson was a five-year letter winner at Mississippi State, starting all 270 games of her career from 2018-22. She authored a .352 batting average for the Bulldogs with 92 home runs and 220 runs batted in. She finished with 277 hits, including 47 doubles and five triples, and also scored a school-record 219 runs, including 50 or more runs during her freshman and sophomore campaigns. She is the Southeastern Conference and Mississippi State’s career home runs leader and also completed her career tied for third on the NCAA’s career home runs list. Davidson was honored as the 2022 NFCA/Diamond Sports Catcher of the Year and was a two-time NFCA All-America pick, earning a spot on the First Team during the 2022 season. She also earned First-Team All-America distinction from D1Softball.com and Softball America in her final collegiate season. Davidson garnered NFCA All-Region honors four times and was a three-time First-Team All-SEC performer. She was a Second-Team CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree as a graduate student and a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District pick. Davidson was also tabbed the 2018 SEC Freshman of the Year and was a Top 10 finalist for the NFCA National Freshman of the Year award. She finished her career as Mississippi State’s career leader in games played and started, slugging percentage (.775), home runs, runs scored, runs batted in (220), total bases (610), times hit by a pitch (57), runners picked off (13), defensive chances (1,759), putouts (1,555), and runners thrown out (57). She posted 69 multi-hit games during her career, good for fourth on the Bulldogs’ career list, and owns the school record with 56 multi-RBI efforts. Davidson played at every infield position during her career, including catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, and third base, and also played as the Bulldogs’ designated player during her career.
