Lexi Kilfoyl Selected with No. 1 Pick in AUSL Inaugural Draft
The Bandits selected right-handed pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl as the No. 1 overall pick in the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Inaugural Draft.
After graduating from Oklahoma State, Kilfoyl made her pro debut at the 2024 Championship Season and earned Rookie of the Year honors. She was the only pitcher last season to throw a complete game shutout, a feat she accomplished twice in Week One. Kilfoyl started in nine games and finished with a 7-3 record, throwing the most innings of any hurler (59), en route to a 2nd place medal. She also led in ERA (2.23) and strikeouts (39).
She pitched two seasons at OSU after beginning her career at Alabama. She posted a 70-21 record with a 1.70 career ERA and 549 strikeouts over 565.0 innings. She was a consensus First-Team All-America selection by NFCA, Softball America, and D1Softball her senior year. Kilfoyl was a Top 3 finalist for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award and Big 12 Conference Pitcher of the Year. She earned All-Big 12 First Team with a career-best 1.20 ERA.
The AUSL is a professional women’s softball league featuring four teams playing in a traditional format. The league will begin play this summer.
