The Bandits have completed their roster for the 2025 season after signing their first selection in the college draft, Virginia Tech’s Cori McMillan.

McMillan showcased an incredible senior season, cementing herself as one of the best Hokies softball players in only two years in Blacksburg. She was named the 2025 ACC Player of the Year and is the first ACC player to hit 30 home runs in a single season. Finishing with 31 homers on the year, she is one of just 17 athletes in Division I history to reach the 30-milestone.

She finished the season with the Virginia Tech record in batting average (.407), slugging (.963), and on-base percentage (.514).

For the Bandits, she brings a formidable bat, speed, and versatile options in the field. Before transferring to VT and predominantly playing right field, McMillan spent two seasons at Radford University, mostly playing third base. In 2024, she was 20-for-20 on stolen bases and added 15 more to her career total of swiped bags this season.

The Bandits will make their season debut on June 7 in Rosemont, Illinois, against the Talons. Tickets to the inaugural AUSL season are on sale now.
