Kelsey Stewart-Hunter is a 5-foot-6 professional softball corner infielder from Wichita, Kansas. She was acquired in the 9th Round of the 2025 Inaugural Draft following a collegiate career at Florida.


Personal Life


Family: Daughter of Lori and Christopher Stewart. Has two sons, Trace and Hutton.

Career: Served as an assistant softball coach at Ohio State University in 2024. Graduated from Florida with a degree in telecommunications. Will be inducted into the University of Florida Athletics Hall of Fame in October 2026.


Professional Experience


Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball, AUX & AUSL (2020–2025)


2025 AUSL Regular Season: Appeared in three games for the Volts before missing the remainder of the season due to injury. Collected four hits in eight at-bats (.500 average).

2024 Championship & AUX Seasons: Placed 13th in the Championship season with 1,370 points and 11th in AUX with 1,070 points.

2023 Championship Season: Secured ninth place with 1,538 points, scoring 11 runs with a .245 batting average.

2021 Championship Season: Finished third on the leaderboard with 1,612 points. Hit .375 and tied for the league lead with five doubles.


Other Professional & International Experience (2013–2021)


NPF: Started her pro career with the USSSA Pride in 2016. Also played for the Texas Charge and Scrap Yard Dawgs.

Team USA: Won a Silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Won Gold medals at the 2017 and 2019 Pan American Games.

College Experience: Florida (2013–2016)


Stewart-Hunter started all 259 career games for Florida, winning NCAA Championships in 2014 and 2015.


Career Statistics: Posted a .391 career batting average with 355 hits, 49 doubles, 29 triples, 15 home runs, and 145 RBIs. Holds Florida career records in at-bats (914), runs scored (259), hits (357), triples (29), and total bases (509).

Records: Registered a school-record 102 hits in 2014.


Awards & Honors


All-America: Two-time First-Team NFCA All-America selection.

Conference Honors: 2015 SEC Player of the Year. Three-time NFCA All-Region.
